Merry Christmas Eve! Just got back from waiting in line for an hour (mostly out on the sidewalk) at the bakery. We have an amazing Italian bakery around the corner and everyone goes there. When you get anything with rum on it they put it in the box and then ask you, "Shall I pour some extra rum on that?" :-)

It was cold here last night! Probably it would help if my house had insulation. Or, you know, heat. I have something they call 'heat', but it's only designed to 'take the chill off', not much use when it's 35 degrees outside.

I never did get that second wind I was hoping for. I fell asleep by 8:30 last night, woke up at 2AM and stayed up just long enough to gulp down a couple of tylenol for my 'too much sleep' headache and the slept again until 6. I think I caught up on the sleep thing.

This is the fair warning that I mentioned. The conclusion of Correspondence will be 155. I am really sorry that it is going to fall on Christmas day. Not the present I would have planned for you. I swear I didn't plan it that way. If I get a chance I'll work up a little sneak preview of my next project so it wont be a totally sad day for those addicted to this one.
