Bento for Wednesday

This was a really fast, easy one to do! The only thing I had to cook was the carrots, everything else was either leftover or came from the freezer.

Top tier has a corn onigiri with nori furakake, a mini quiche and some snap peas.

Bottom has sweet and sour carrots, chicken with soy and mirin, sesame spinach, cherry tomatoes and a few edamame.

Are you getting many comments from co-workers? It would be a huge topic of interest if I brought something that looked that good to work.

I get more comments on the fact that it's healthy than what it actually looks like. But we're small so most people are used to my lunches by now.

I want you to pack my lunch :-)

I can't cook. At all. I microwave and occasionally ponder the
incomprehensible instructions in cookbooks. But seeing your bentos
the past few weeks has inspired me to check out the kid's cookbooks
at the library. (You know, the ones with LOTS of simple explanations).
So thank you for that...I think.

Go for it! If nothing else you'll be eating cheaper and healthier if you make it yourself.
