I'm completely, absolutely, totally with you. The boys were shocked, too - after they were eliminated, they were very much of the "I can't believe Holly beat me," mindset, and yeah - I agree (and I don't think it was snobbism or anything - I think she was actually the weaker contestant. Her and Ben). I thought it was going to be either Ronnie or Perry, and for Perry to be the first one out? Shocked me.
And there was a lady in the gosees that commented on Holly's voice and accent, said she needed a voice coach. Which she does. But I guess, like that lady, the judges view that aspect of her as "fixable."
I was surprised by Amanda showing up, and Perry making up with her after all that turmoil. And Ben's wife April... there's something weird going on there.
