I fell asleep last night just before Supermodel and woke up just at the very end and saw that Holly won. This troubles me. Not because I don’t think she deserved to win, she did. They all deserved it and whichever had won would have been ok. Holly is lovely, photographs well and takes direction well. But a couple of things bothered me about it. The chief one being that I do not believe for even one split second that she was voted the winner. I think that was one of those ‘the producers can do whatever the hell we want to do because it’s our show and we want Holly to win’ things. Week after week after week the audience has consistently voted for the guys. I find it hard to believe that all of a sudden they changed their tune. The other thing that bugged me is Holly was promised a contract right there on the runway regardless of if she won or lost a couple of weeks ago, so why should she win? She already won, give it to someone else.
Also, please don’t ever let her open her mouth again. Listening to her is just like nails on a chalkboard.

I think the men's various factions split their votes. If Shannon had been up there it may have changed things, but since Holly was the only female anybody as sick of the all boys club would automatically vote for her. I for one was sick and tired of the Bronnie and always thought Perry looked like Lurch. Holly to me at least looked like a model. I think she deserved her win.

And there was a lady in the gosees that commented on Holly's voice and accent, said she needed a voice coach. Which she does. But I guess, like that lady, the judges view that aspect of her as "fixable."
I was surprised by Amanda showing up, and Perry making up with her after all that turmoil. And Ben's wife April... there's something weird going on there.

I have to say that I picked Holly as my top female after
Week 1 and always thought she had the most distinctive
look of the girls. However, I don't think she's smart
enough or savvy enough to be a supermodel. I think she
might get some jobs, then get married and go back to
Virginia. Unlike Shannon, who is smart AND has the drive
to succeed, I don't see Holly doing that at all.
