Merry Christmas Eve! Just got back from waiting in line for an hour (mostly out on the sidewalk) at the bakery. We have an amazing Italian bakery around the corner and everyone goes there. When you get anything with rum on it they put it in the box and then ask you, "Shall I pour some extra rum on that?" :-)

Re: the Italian bakery, so true. I have friends who have one and every year they make me a huge eleven layer rum cake. I keep asking them to lighten up on the rum, but their response was to put a few extra circles beneath the cake - which soak through by the time I get it home anyway. The up side is that one New Year's Eve it got a bunch of high end MBAs plastered and I have video of them on their knees racing talking pig toys. Heh. That sucker comes in handy every now and then.

OH! THE SCHMOOP! It's sooo ... oh, I think what makes me saddest is the finality of it. How much Justin has loved corresponding with Brian and it's all wrapping up and damn, that's just sad.
