...both the entry and the icons.

Question: Where is that pic of Brian/Gale in the slutty shirt from? Or is it manipulated?

On a side note, I can't believe the crap that some QAF fans are spouting. You'd think that QAF fans would be the most liberal, forward thinking group around. And most are. But reading some of the stuff that some of them are spewing about the hurricane and the victims of the hurricane make me sick. *shakes head in disgust*

Sorry for the mini vent.

The entry is beautiful--as always.

It's a manip. I took one look at that shirt and knew that I wanted to see Brian in it :-)

Sorry for the mini vent.

Oh please, feel free to vent and then vent some more. I'm reading fairly cautiously so I don't have a stroke from rage or something.

Yes, that's defintiely a Brian shirt. But ya know, I can see Justin in it too. They both have that hippie-out-of-time look. Brian more than Justin, but it's defintiely there in both of them.

Hell, who am I kidding? They both look good in anything--or nothing! :)

As for all the crap out there? My comfort 'food' has been Harry Potter. While waiting for the power I started rereading the HP books--by flashlight. I hadn't reread them in a while. So I'm dealing by escaping to Hogwarts. :)

Side question about this: I can't believe the crap that some QAF fans are spouting and this But reading some of the stuff that some of them are spewing about the hurricane and the victims of the hurricane make me sick.

What is this about & where is it happening?

PS As a New Yorker I'd like to apologize about not warning you all about FEMA. The workers I met were sweet people but they have an absolute lack of concrete helpfulness [I'm still wondering exactly what they were supposed to do and it's been almost 4 years now]. Also there is the federal government's tendency to grandstand, promise lots of stuff and then somehow "forget" to fund the stuff, followed by losing interest and wandering off to the next photo-op.

Can I suggest that Salvation Army, the Catholic Church and the Red Cross in that order. They tended to be much more focused on the practical notion of "getting real stuff done" and then letting the paperwork catch up later. Also because all three organizations have done this lots, and done it all over the world they know thing that you might not have thought of right away, so ask questions and take advice. Also going to the Red Cross PTSD workshops are well worth it.
