Good morning. It's a holiday weekend here in the US and I'm not working Monday. Not only am I not working Monday, I'm getting paid for not working Monday. It's so nice to have a real job.

I begged
paddies to make me some icons this week and she very kindly made all these amazing ones for me.
Please don't take these two:

Feel free to take these, and
paddies, I forgot to tell you if you want to post these on your site or LJ that's fine with me of course.

Thanks, your icon is great too. I love the way Brian and Justin touch each other's faces and heads when they're having sex/making love.

Isn't it fabulous?! Wish he'd really worn it :-)
Beautiful...
Question: Where is that pic of Brian/Gale in the slutty shirt from? Or is it manipulated?
On a side note, I can't believe the crap that some QAF fans are spouting. You'd think that QAF fans would be the most liberal, forward thinking group around. And most are. But reading some of the stuff that some of them are spewing about the hurricane and the victims of the hurricane make me sick. *shakes head in disgust*
Sorry for the mini vent.
The entry is beautiful--as always.
Re: Beautiful...
It's a manip. I took one look at that shirt and knew that I wanted to see Brian in it :-)
Sorry for the mini vent.
Oh please, feel free to vent and then vent some more. I'm reading fairly cautiously so I don't have a stroke from rage or something.
Re: Beautiful...
Hell, who am I kidding? They both look good in anything--or nothing! :)
As for all the crap out there? My comfort 'food' has been Harry Potter. While waiting for the power I started rereading the HP books--by flashlight. I hadn't reread them in a while. So I'm dealing by escaping to Hogwarts. :)
Huh? QAF fans & New Orleans
What is this about & where is it happening?
PS As a New Yorker I'd like to apologize about not warning you all about FEMA. The workers I met were sweet people but they have an absolute lack of concrete helpfulness [I'm still wondering exactly what they were supposed to do and it's been almost 4 years now]. Also there is the federal government's tendency to grandstand, promise lots of stuff and then somehow "forget" to fund the stuff, followed by losing interest and wandering off to the next photo-op.
Can I suggest that Salvation Army, the Catholic Church and the Red Cross in that order. They tended to be much more focused on the practical notion of "getting real stuff done" and then letting the paperwork catch up later. Also because all three organizations have done this lots, and done it all over the world they know thing that you might not have thought of right away, so ask questions and take advice. Also going to the Red Cross PTSD workshops are well worth it.

Not at all, just please credit me for the manip.

Oh, I'm assuming that it's okay to use for my layout also, as long as it's credited. If you'd rather I didn't, just let me know.

And I don't remember if I told you before, but I absolutely adore Brian's shirt! :x:x:x

Isn't it fantastic? I always remember that S1 scene where Brian comes home and finds Justin dancing around in the sheer striped shirt that he said was his and am sad we didn't get to see him wearing it.

Btw, I re-read "correspondence" the other day (and I recced on Queer Eyes), but if I try to access it from here (http://quinn.webaxxs.net/quinn/art/correspondence/correspondence.htm) the links stop on #50...
I could access the rest from here (http://quinn.webaxxs.net/cor_pa/index.htm), but I just wanted to let you know...just in case...(I kinda like the first layout better...*hides*)

Thanks. I liked that layout better too but I had quite a few people tell me they found it hard to navigate it that way and it was much harder to update it that way. I changed the main link on the site to the new layout so that one should work. Maybe one of these days when I have time (I can't imagine when that will actually be), I'll go back and do both Correspondence and Adventures over in some version of that first layout that's easier to navigate.

Awww...gotcha. Although I don't know how people could find it hard to navigate...you just have to click on the arrows! *ponders*

Eh, sometimes I wish we had 50 hours days, or something...there's never enough time to do the stuff we like, and too much time "wasted" on trivial things... like work... ;-)
