The Glam Nation Tour - Opening day/night

Since I had two big graphics in my fic post I'm putting up a little news post here.



The show itself was amazing and I'm going to include a you tube of one of the songs and I posted quite a few photos in my fic so I'm going to share a series of tweets that went back and forth for most of the day yesterday between Neil, Adam's brother and their father. These two are a lot of fun to follow, recently they got into a big long political/scientific debate over patenting gene technology. This was not so deep!



Oher news from the tour: Sutan apparently got a hold of Tommy and did this:


At least we are assuming it was Sutan. The costumes are very neo-dandy, steampunk. The greyish curls looked great with tommy's red ruffle shirt and black embellished long jacket.

Here was a nice moment between Adam & Tommy:



It was the first night so all sorts of things probably went wrong but they are pros so it didn't show. Except for Adam's 'wardrobe malfunction.' He had on a white shirt under a vest. To save on bulk & to speed costume changes the sleeves were sewn into the vest so he wouldn't have to wear the whole shirt. The sleeves in the under arm area basically shredded. He looked at it, laughed and said, "I've sprung a leak!"



I had a hard time choosing a video to link, they were all amazing. This is a song that tends to get really mixed reviews on Adam's album, some people love it, others hate it. Most people really like the acoustic live version though. Adam wrote it with some friends and it's basically a coming out anthem though it can be interpreted in other ways. Here he is singing it with just Monte on acoustic guitar. Check the other vids by this same person for the rest of the set.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this "gray hair" trend going on with youngsters today (hahahahaha!!!!!!!) but think it actually goes fairly well with Tommy's coloring. He'll make a handsome old man! :P

Thank you for posting all these interesting vids and posts I am fast becoming a PR poster to my Aussie friends about Adam. I have a question about Tommy, I think he is the blonde one with the hair squiff, is he the one who is straight and recently became a father. If so, he certainly glams up good lol. I have no idea how they manage to wear all that make up and not ruin it, I still cannot manage it lol.

You're thinking of Monte. He's the guitarist and musical director. He and his wife just had twins, their third girl and first boy for a total of four kids.

They do wear makeup well! I haven't got a good pic of lp from last night but he's rocking bare chest and body paint!
