Rachel Maddow did a segment on the picture and talked to the woman whose blog brought the picture to the world's attention. The model's head is larger than her pelvis. She has the dimensions of an insect!

Apparently Ralph Lauren's reaction to the blog's publicity was to send a lawyer letter, telling them to take down the blog post immediately. The blog (whose name I forget!) is sited in Canada, however, and the law the lawyers invoked is not applicable outside the U.S., so no dice. It's interesting that Ralph Lauren's reaction was not, Yo, we may have made a mistake, but Yo, get that off the internet. FanSee
