Well according to OneRing.net, Ian McKellen has been cast as Gandalf again so we can only hope they hurry up and get going on this.

It's been one lawsuit after another after another plus getting the scripts approved and now WB is going broke. What a mess. It'll get made, there's too much $$$ involved for it not to get made but seriously, it's a bumpy road at best.
