Trying again

I tried to post this vid last night but youtube deleted it. Trying again.


I'm not entirely sure why I did this. I don't vid. But I just really wanted to see this vid so I had to make it. I've only made three vids in my life (as will become abundantly clear when or if you watch it) and the last one was four years ago and it was a Sims2 vid. Also my computer was totally choking by the end so I had to just stop even though I wanted to do a lot more with it. Clearly there must be tricks I don't know. I was really tempted to transfer this over to a work computer for rendering but I don't really want to get fired. Anyway I refuse to be a total apologist, bottom line is I like it and it says what I wanted it to say. I will admit being intimidated posting this as there are so many talented vidders on my flist.

Oh and please do not judge the song. I don't know WTF that was all about but in my head this was the song so I had to go with it.

you did a great job, seriously. I love the fade out at the end, all your cuts, the shots you selected, really, and the song works, very good job.

I just watched the youtube version and the timing is off. It doesn't match the way I made it so some of the music cues are off, which is kind of annoying. I wonder what's up with that?

I could not imagine. Norton dumped my cookies so I couldn't get to my YouTube, like I can remember my username or password but I now have that straightened and will go check it out.

I really liked this, quinn! The song is bittersweet -- and it went really well with the clips of the idols' families. Well done on the editing. I've only made a couple myself, but it's fun to practise.

Do you mind if I post a link to it on another forum?
