Depressed

Two people got fired at work today. Sucks. One I will admit was not my favourite person but one was. Oh, and guess who gets to take over one of the jobs?

This is a really bad time for my best friend to be out of town. I could use a drinking buddy. But then again I have two jobs now so drinking is not a good plan.

Was it because of cut-backs? Either way it's still hard. We cut our staff down at work and I've gotten frighteningly skilled at good-byes.

what a bummer, we have had many layoffs at my job and it is always a shock to see people go and to be assigned some of their work when you already had plenty of your own.
