I had short platinum hair at one time but that was a long time ago, too much trouble to maintain!
I don't ask permission for kindle reading. I've always saved fics to read later on my hard drive or handhelds. It's not as though I was distributing them to anyone else. I don't care if people save mine for later reading either as long as they don't share them around. I know quite a few people put them into powerpoint presentations so they read them as one long file, which seems like a good idea to me.
