I woke up with a horrible case of vertigo (and the accompanying nausea). I figured it was just allergies and would pass after I'd been up for a while. I tried to go to work since the first thing I had to do today was a coorporate portait of a client on location. I didn't even make it out of my driveway. I emailed the office and had them reschedule and crawled back into bed. I was feeling a bit better by late afternoon and managed to make to the eye Dr. for a checkup. I knew I needed new glasses. My old ones haven't been right since I got them but that was a long time ago. I got computer glasses last year but could not afford new distance glasses. I was figuring $300 for the glasses. It's what they have always cost in the past. Not this time. This time, $145! The frames, which were the ones I liked the best, were $35! I'm thrilled. Also, the Dr. told me my new glasses will be 20% stonger than my old ones and my old ones were pretty strong. You know the giant E at the top of the eye chart? Without my glasses I could not see it. At all.

vertigo is nearly gone now and I hope it stays gone now the weekend is here.
