I am Not Amused.
Forgive the poor quality of the photo. It was nearly pitch dark when I took it (I couldn't see the raccoon with the naked eye) and pushed the camera to the limits to get the shot. All this time I have been blaming the squirrels, note the huge pile of sunflower seed shells on the ground below him.

That's a wonderful picture.

You know, there's a reason racoons wear that bandit's mask! FanSee

I suppose the feeder is better than the trash. But then again we don't put our trash out more than 30 minutes before they come to get it.

Aaaah! I'm going to be the dippy person from overseas and make eyes at the cute; the thought of seeing a real live raccoon is so exciting to me :) Look at that mischief he's making!

They are cute, I'll give you that. They can be very destructive though. The funny thing is I was walking through the house and notice the water in the pool was moving and I went to check if there was an alligator or a snake or something in there (there wasn't) and that's the only reason I saw him.

We had to stop putting out bird feeders in the winter because the squirrels kept getting all the food.

The squirrels get in mine too but I don't mind too much. Down here they don't eat to get fat for winter and they don't store food, so he just eats until he's not hungry so there's still plenty for the birds.

"Don't mind me. I'm just stopping for a snack. I'll tweet like a bird if it makes you feel better..."

It's kind of scary how smart raccoons are sometimes.

It is. Look at that face, "I'm just here for the buffet, don't mind me."

At least raccoons are cuter than rats, which is what I caught stealing from my bird feeders a couple of weeks ago! I knew I had mice in my garden (my kitty loves bringing them in as presents) but rats??!!

I know coons can be annoying, but that is an adorable photo!

It looks like he's saying "can you pass the salt?". (That's a HUGE pile of seed shells!)
