He'll use GDL in something since he loves him but I don't trust him with anything any more.

That's one reason I don't think they'll be a season 4. Not that I feel particularly interested in one.

makes sense now though, he wrecked it on the way out so no one else could continue it after he left.

That was precisely the phrase I used on Twitter, he broke his toys so no one else could play with them.

Now that I think about it, this is exactly what he did with his version of QAF. He did not want to do anymore after the first series so he basically killed off the characters in the second series. It took the American series to give them life again. I think the bottom line with this guy is that he is easily bored and wants to move on to the next thing and he does not understand why(or even care that) we get so attached to these characters.
