I've been staying spoiler free but I had one thing I had every intention of spoiling myself on. Was Ianto alive at the end? Months and months ago I heard the rumour that Ianto was going to die in this series and Jack was going to take off at the end. I was hoping it was not true but now it is becoming more and more likely it is true. I presume Jack will be back but unless The Doctor manages some sort of re-set that's it for Ianto.

I watch for Ianto and Ianto only.

I can't help but think BBC has screwed itself with this scheduling. If this is true and RTD has indeed fucked over his show then I doubt his US fans will bother with it on BBC America. I had every intention of watching it (of course) and have been talking it up to everyone I know who doesn't watch it to make sure they tuned in. Now I've already cancelled my DVD order (I can always re-order if this turns out to be fake) and am not going to tune in and and will tell all those folks I was talking it up to not to bother after all.

The thing is a lot of folks are saying it can't be true because no one gets the DVDs early. I am here to tell you thet tons of people get DVDs early every single week. They are shipped to the retailers one week before the release date. I have no doubt at all that there are lots of people out there with the DVDs in hand today.

So I'm really pissed off and sad. Another show wrecked, another gay couple off the air. First Donna and now Ianto. I'll never watch anything RTD has his hand on again if this pans out.
