A couple of random thoughts about Children of Earth
When, exactly, did Jack and Ianto get demoted to being supporting players on the Gwen Cooper show? I'm getting more annoyed by this with every episode. Last night was particularly egregious.
I once heard a rumour which I dismissed at the time as utter claptrap that they were going to get rid of both Jack and Ianto and go forward with Torchwood with Gwen in charge. Of course it was nonsense, who would put that girl in charge of anything? Especially since more than half the fandom can't stand her. I'm starting to wonder now if maybe it was true.
Also, Jack came back to life with a really bad orange fake tan. It was distracting last night.
