Dandy! Seems like a long time since I posted a photo of Dandy. Clearly he needs his face washed. That weird blue glow on the top of his head is from the blue LED light on my laptop cooling pad. I was going to correct it but then I thought, this is how it is. Most of the time I am lying on my bed with the laptop and he's right beside me in the glow of the LED.

I took my parents out to lunch today for an early father's day:




Dad had a suasage and peppers sandwich.


I had a salad with asian glazed chicken.


Mom had a salad with shrimp and gorgonzola and a raspberry vinaigrette.

You're welcome any time! My friends and family are used to me taking food photos by now. They are pretty good about not digging in until they ask, "do you want to shoot it?", they'll even offer to hold the plate just so if need be. I suppose they think it's weird, or they used to, but since I partly make my living taking food shots they understand.

Do you still make bentos for lunch? I need to go back and catch up on all your photos. I was doing placeholders for quite awhile as my computer was being fussy.

I met a woman once whose mom was a food stylist for magazine photo shoots. I'd never thought about that as a profession before and then when you started showing us the "Daily Bento" it reminded me of that woman because yours always looked so pretty and professional.

I do still make bento for lunch, not as often as I used to though. I need to get back to it, it's so much cheaper.

Dandy is such a beautiful sweetie! Adorable pic, hon, and I love that you chose to leave the blue glow there because "this is how it is." Beautiful.

(I haven't mentioned it before, but that's our boy in my icon.)
