Feeders Feeders
Summer has arrived with a vengeance in FL. It's too hot to stalk birds so I have arranged for them to come to me.

I hope that you get a lot of feathery visitors. We've been having an Indian summer out here but I am sure that winter will hit soon.

Summer is the equivalent of winter for most people here. We plan indoor activities, we avoid the outdoors, we don't garden or barbecue etc. It's not even that it's so much hotter than elsewhere it's just hotter for longer and it doesn't cool off at night. Then there are the hurricanes of course!
I hate summer.

I can't wait to see who comes to visit.

Me too! I put the feeders up about 5pm yesterday and as far as I know no birds have found them yet.

I should do feeders. I really should. My no-longer-quite-so-little swamp maple is right outside my dining room window. All I'd have to do to hang a feeder is lean out the window. And the cat, whose favorite window it is, would be in hog heaven.

On the other hand, unless I'm going to stop raising the window so that the cat can survey the neighborhood, maybe I should just forget about the feeder. FanSee

P.S. Looking forward to seeing what yours attracts.
