I'm going to make up for my 'look what I made in kindergarten!' post with this.

Read this now.

It is appalling. It's not starvation or homelessness or fire or famine or war. But it is a horrific insight into our current culture of perfection.

That was interesting. I like the author concluding that she would keep the genetic hand she was dealt. That first MD in the article was a twit!

I think that the economic correction will take care of some of this. It's a frivolous expenditure that people with excess cash spend money on.

As more and more people lose their jobs and wonder about the money that is lavished by the media on a woman who has 14 children and can't afford to feed one of them......things will change. I can only hope.

But money or not the idea that doctors would recommend surgery to a young girl with a perfect body is outrageous! One of them told her she had waist fat!
