Lillies

I shot most of these last night and meant to do more this morning but I woke up with a horrible headache that doesn't seem to want to go away. I did set up and shoot some but was rushing it because I felt bad so I gave up. Maybe more tomorrow.

D loved white lilies. I'm going there tomorrow. May I print a pic and tuck it in the dirt by his headstone? Goofy, I know. But, I leave him notes. Why not pics?

Those are awesome. The black background with the white lilies is particularly effective. They look etherial. FanSee

Thanks, I'm really trying to learn more about lighting but it's tough. I need a book I think. The only class I can find is over $500, which is not in the budget I'm afraid!

Fantastic pictures! The closeups are incredible. Have you ever thought of spritzing the flowers with a bit of water? I love the look of water in closeup shots.

Thanks! I do spritz fairly often. You can't see it in any of the ones I posted (there are always about 20 for every one I post!) but in this shoot I used an eyedropper to place water drops in specific locations on the flowers for some shots.

I have to keep mine on a bookcase or Dandy would ensure that they actually were on my dining room table (as opposed to in a vase)
