There's a location that I've been wanting to go shoot at but I wasn't exactly sure how to find it. I've driven past it a lot but usually it's dark out or I'm driving so I can't see the actual access to it. So this afternoon I decided to go over there and find out how to get in etc. It's a state park and my brother has shot some really nice stuff there when visiting me but I've never gone there. I didn't intend to take any pictures since it was the worst possible time of day for it and I wasn't dressed for trail hiking in any case. I stopped in the visitors center where I met the most enthusiastic park ranger ever. She introduced me to some of the resident wildlife.
Normally I like to just let you click through and discover the images on your own. In this case however I'm giving a warning since I know phobias are not fun.

And as an aside, did you know that in Israel, you can get massages wherein you lay down and they place snakes on you? Kinda the same logic as a hot stone massage, only with snakes. A friend of mine went just the other day and loved it. I'm not snake-phobic, but I think I'll pass. :) Plus... I'm here. :)

Saw your review of W. I heard it was good but I'm still not sure if I'll go see it. I'll probably get it on DVD.

It's not anything you need to see urgently. I was just really impressed by the quality of the filmmaking, overall, and I think the acting was terrific.
