I have a yellow tabby cat named Dmitri. He also goes by Monsieur Kitty (because I speak french to him on a regular basis) or Beasto (because he's a fatty)

I live in Chicago. There is this lily pond near the Lincoln Park Zoo that is just breath-taking. It's so hard to describe it, and photos do it very little justice. But being there transcends the city life. You are transported somewhere else, somewhere peaceful.
