In the last hour I developed one of the worst headaches I've ever had in my life. I crawled out of bed and downed some Tylenol and went to the kitchen to make my Bento for tomorrow. When I was headed back to lie down I walked right into the very sharp corner of a table. OUCH. It got me rightin the thigh and left a large gash and incipient bruise. And blood. It's not fair! *sob*. I feel like a five year old with a skinned knee. There's even blood! Did I mention there's blood? Oh, and just to make it totally pathetic it's right in the spot where I have to give myself a shot.

Okay, enough with the whine. I just had to get that out. I have interesting work news (or at least it's interesting to me) but I'm waiting for the Tylenol to kick in before I post about that.

Thanks hon, I feel as though I've been totally out of touch with you for the last little while. I've been reading just too tired or lazy to comment. Congrats on the improved news on the home front.

I had migraines for years, until I finally out-lived them in my 50s. The same thing happened to my father; his migraines stopped in his early 50s, too.

Nothing much helped my migraines, but now, when I do have the rare headache, I find Advil works far better than Tylenol...for me, anyway. Just a suggestion.

Thanks, I can't take Advil, it upsets my stomach. Tylenol works pretty well for me.

Not having a very good evening are you? I feel some of your pain, I nailed my kneecap today right on the corner of my desk at work. If it had been allowed I think I would have been screaming $%$#%$#@!!! but I had to settle for whimpering at my desk instead.

I'm better today thanks, headache has faded if not gone away and the leg is sore but not too bad.

You know, there's a children's rhyme in Germany:

(In English it's something like: "Heal, heal, blessing, tomorrow there'll be rain, the day after tomorrow there'll be snow, it doesn't hurt any more." - Sorry, it's not easy to translate.)

I can relate on the knee thing. I hit my knee like and there was a knot there for a couple of weeks
