Bento: Day 1
People seemed to enjoy the food porn the other day so here's my first effort at Bento. Today is a late day for me though, we'll see how it goes when I have to be out of the house at 4:45!

In the left container is an onigiri (rice ball), broccoli, grape tomatoes, and grapes. In the left is a piece of vegetable frittata, chicken teryaki, sesame ginger carrots, broccoli and a few more grape tomatoes. Up against the divider are a couple of packets of soy sauce. It fits in my lunch bag and I'm also taking a small container of yoghurt, and a banana for breakfast and I keep a packet of hobnobs in my desk so I'll have one of those for a snack.

Thanks, and it was all super easy. I made the veggies for dinner last night and made sure I had leftovers for today. The chicken is that perdue pre-cooked chicken breast and I just stir fried it really quickly in a little sesame oil and a dollop of bottled teryaki sauce. The rice I did in the rice cooker, added some sushi rice dressing and shaped it while warm. The frittata was a quick stove top recipe I found online. I made two, a veggie one and a mushroom one. All told I spent maybe 90 minutes cooking on Sunday and I have enough food for the week probably.
