Graduation rehearsal today. The place where they always held it (the Civic Center) was destroyed last fall in the hurricanes so now we're having it at the Mets baseball stadium. "Graduates should walk along the walkway behind the Mets dugout..." They even gave us baseball tickets for tomorrow night and are (mortifyingly) going to show us on the Jumbotron screen getting our diplomas. I hope I don't hit Dr. Wheeler in the face with it or anything.
Oh, and they told us about a million times, "Ladies, no high heels! You have to walk up and down stairs and you have to walk on the infield." I think they are more concerned with the grass behind home plate then they are with us falling down the stairs. Fine with me, I was planning on flats anyway.
ETA: Oops, forgot to include the Adventure. I'm a bit distracted...

Thanks very much and no! Well, I guess for the last year or so it seemed like more of a reality :-)

Congrats on graduation rehearsal. I hope it isn't forever long.

HAHAHA! I'm sorry. It would be horrible, but my mother would LOVE that.
I bet they were more worried about the grass too. At this age, if you wear heals without thinking of the consequences, it's your own damn fault if you fall. I wore flip flops to my high school graduation. It was much cooler, and I didn't have to worry about the turf or the stairs.

My mom thinks it's great :/

oddly, Mikey's e-mail fits in with the general armosphere of distractedness.
congratulations, Quinn, and I hope you have a wonderful graduation day!

Well, we have to wear dresses, which is fine with me since they're cooler. But the skirt I was going to wear has no pockets so at the last second I decided to wear a different dress. I'd like to at least have a tissue with me.

And this is the perfect response from Michael. ;))

My earlier advice to Mikey still stands.
