I agree totally with Brian about the weirdness of seeing the real things after all the images and pictures that you are previously privy to.

I tend to get the opposite reaction, I used to travel with my parents when I was little, then I see places I've been on TV or something and it's weird.

I think the biggest shock after seeing pictures and tv would be the actual size of everything. It must be amazing to see in person. lol. Picturing Brian on a camel...

Pyramids, so fun! I climbed up a couple in Mexico but I'm sure they weren't as huge as these. Nice touch with Justin's shirt

The only pyramid I saw in Mexico was the Acapulco Princess Hotel, lol.

They have lots of interesting ruins there. I saw the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon.

It just hit me how bizarre it is to think of Brian willingly albeit sarcastically sharing in this journal of they're trip. It seems so much more of a Justin thing but I can see him coming around like this... anyway, yes, I am slow... it only took me 101 posts to think this. Ha!

It does require a certain suspension of disbelief. I figure he got into the habit of writing during Correspondence ;-)

As much as I'm loving this whole series, my favorite parts are the comments between Justin and Brian. "Yeah well, we can't all be fashion plates." You're doing a wonderful job on this!

A very nice entry. I especially like Brian's observation about how weird it is to be there, when you've seen that sort of stuff so many times. I think that's how I'd feel, too.
