I'm still reading and loving, but I can only think of so many variations of "Quinn you are good." And I'm sure that gets boring.
However I remember being in Morroco & how puchy they were at one point they were literally running after tourist trying to sell them stuff. I think this is one of those places that think all Americans are rich.
Interesting that the word "craft" could have such a wide variety of meanings! I also thought the Aryan family remark from the earlier post was very, very, very funny. Just what are the guys going to do with the spices?
Duh, it's right there on the photo...how did I miss that? I think I was trying to identify the different spices. Thanks for not making me feel like a goober!
I LOVE it, as always... I also adored the previous one... "and it's like he's a different person" made me almost teary eyed...don't know why exactly...*sighs*
I went to Morocco for a single day once - about seventeen years ago - and you've somehow captured the essence of that day here... the spices, the carpets, the smells. (Even the part that Brian tactfully omitted - the day I went was the day when, traditionally, sheep are slaughtered... on the street. At twelve years of age, it was a bit of a culture shock for me.)

OMG I would have had a screaming fit and not gotten over it to this day.
And all these spices look so colourful. I'm sure Deb & Em are going to be thrilled.
Yeah, sorry for not leaving feedback that often. I read every entry though and it's so much fun. And love the mystery of where they'll go next (prays for Egypt next, omg, so awesome ;))
I can't believe I've not been reading these. Now, I have to back track.
This is wonderful how you've done this. I've always wanted to go to Marrekesh....Now, I'm not so sure. But, I do love to travel. For now I can live vicariously through you. Sweet.
Is it wrong of me that i found the last line hilarious? So Brian.
And your Maroc is dead on. Especially the exploding colors of the cities -in the spices and carpets and clothes- contrasted with all the garbage and filth and poverty. Your descriptions make me feel like i'm there again.
I'm not bored with Morrocco... although having been to a tannery myself when I was there I can completely agree with the comment on how bad it smelled. They actually handed us mint branches on our way in to hold under our noses in case the smell was to nauseating... yeah.

PS - who's bored?

Oh don't worry about it, you give me tons of great feedback and I appreciate it. It's hard to come up with things to say.

Thanks. I'm not a feedback whore but if something gets no feedback I start to worry I'm on the wrong track or something :/

OMG I totally know what you mean...I'm guilty of not-feedbacking enough...*so* sorry!!
But seriously I always read it (sometimes I'm a bit late tho...RL...*sighs*) and enjoy it very much! ♥

I love the picture of the spices.

The really sick thing is that I read that on-line. It happened to someone in RL! Blech.
