Good morning :-)
Anyone who checked the flight number at Air France had a pretty good idea where the boys were going. Only one person (princesswonder) mentioned the correct city though. The flight went from Brazil to Paris to Casablanca. They got a connecting flight there and went on to Marrakech, Morocco.

Click the Adventures link to the left and you'll find a couple of maps (numbers 11 and 12) to get you oriented.

Isn't it pretty? That's a real place so you can add it to your future travel plans :-)

After their long day of travel, it might not just be Morocco that is smelling exotic!

Can't wait to see what the boys get up to on this next part of their adventure... so much fun. And I LOVE Africa so whatever it is it can't be bad... but please, if there are any pictures of snakes please warn me. I will freak, and not in a good way. kthx.

Oh Morrocco. Its a very 'interesting' place to say the least
weren't you just there last year??

Morocconess
The people are so hostile on the street but if you start talking to them they are incredibly hospitable. Like it's not uncommon for a total stranger to ask you to stay with them. Its very stange. I had the opportunity to stay with a family for a few days over Christmas and go to a family celebration for the birth of a son. Ive never been to such an elaborate banquet and it was also my first live sheep sacrifice. On one hand, everyone was so welcoming to me and they took me into their home even though i was a total stranger yet they made it very clear that i was a westerner. The friend i went with was Arabic and they'd only speak in Arabic even though they all speak french fluently. Also, there was a 15 yr. old girl in the family i stayed with and when she found out i dont believe in Mohammad she would no longer talk to me. She had never heard of Christianity and i tried to explain its not that i think shes wrong but where i grew up in is for the most part a Christian country. And she was 'Well Mohammad IS the true prophet.' And than she asked my friend why she is friends with a non-Arab. I know that's the world she is from but this was a extremely wealthy family, well educated and Morocco is one of the most Western arab countries. And if they see the world like this it just impacted me on how many incredible differences exist and how crazy what we are doing in Irak is.
But i love this series. It's interesting to watch them go to a lot of places i've been but also it gives me inspiration for places i want to go, especially South America after following their adventures there!

All I know about Marrakech is from the Amazing Race so I'm looking forward to increasing my knowledge, Quinn style.

Someday I am going to have to watch that show.

Good description of the exhaustion from the travel. It's so weird, because all you're doing is sitting there, an yet when you get off the plane you feel like so bone-weary.

Wasn't it ever Justin. Wasn't it ever.
I love that the one thing Justin registers is that it smells exotic. It's the little things that make your character voices so eerily perfect.
