i really like the pictures you chose. Driving down Wacker Drive at night with the lights of the city glistening off the water, deep dish pizza, even the snow-i miss all those things. im glad Brian and Justin got to *see* them.
Oh my goodness! I've have been reading (and loving) your posts for so long and this is my first "been there" moment. I get my hair cut at Maxines! They give awesome facials. The best. No kidding.
Tons of snow in Chicago this weekend, so I can relate to the pics. It didn't stop my sisters and I from seeing the last night of "Spamalot" (Broadway preview based on Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail with Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azaria – awesome!) Chicago is the best.
Thanks for the adventure posts. They're helping me through a LONG winter.
Yay! Chicago. I miss home so much but not this weekend! Both my brothers are snowed in - felt a tiny bit guilty complaining that LA was all hazy today. It was t-shirt and flip-flop weather this weekend and made the homesick feeling a little less painful.
Thanks for swinging our boys through my hometown. It's worth the trip if just for Giordano's - the best pizza ever!

Here's a fast test to determine if someone was born in Chicago. Ask them recite the following street names. *Devon *Paulina *Goethe *Hoyne Despite popular and most likely correctly pronunciations, true natives of Chicago developed their own special way of saying them. It's also a good way to identify outsiders.
