I decided to do another day. This one was a little more quiet than usual since I didn't have my family over for dinner, which I usually do on Sundays.

First thing every morning - breakfast for Dandy. He takes mealtimes very seriously, especially breakfast.

Check the scale. Lost some weight since last time so that was good. I gained 3 pounds over the holidays.

Checked the RRL forum and my flist

and checked my email

Sorted my laundry. I usually do it on Saturdays but I forgot yesterday.

I took a few minutes to read over the next steps in building the Mill

And watched the news.

Got dressed (I can't believe I'm posting a picture of my underwear drawer!)

and finally had my own Breakfast

then I took down my Christmas tree. I love my tree and hate taking it down but I suppose it wouldn't be very special if it was up all the time.

I worked on the mill until it was time for the game (go Giants!)

After the game I took a break and started a new book.

Quiznos for dinner. Not the healthiest but I just didn't feel like cooking.

Fact of life for me, I have pernicious anemia.

Finished my laundry (It takes me forever because I keep forgetting to move it along.)

another fact of life for me. Part of my job requires that I be in constant contact.

Got my gym bag ready for tomorrow. I have a 6am appointment with my trainer.

surfed the web a little bit

and played with Dandy

and played some more with Dandy

Set my alarm

and worked a little bit on 'Fall'

and now I'm going to bed. Good night, Bonne Nuit, sleep tight and all that.

Sleep well - you've had a busy day. I, on the other hand, am on holidays and it is hot outside so I am inside watching the tennis and checking out the net.
I still adore Dandy. I had a cross Siamese for 15 years as well as a cross Shih tzu for 20 years but they are both gone and I really don't have time for any more pets right now. Maybe when I retire...

Seems like I have nothing but busy days lately!

I am impressed. Usually on my Sunday off, I consider getting dress an achievement. LOL.

I'd love a day like that but my weekends are pretty much just more work moved to a different location.

Awww, thanks. Even though I'm his 'mom' and totally biased I have to say he's such a sweet kitty in person too.

Dandy is so lovely, I always love Dandy-pics.

That scale looks very interesting. Is it one of those that talk?

No, it's just a digital scale. I suspect it does some other things but I've never figured out how to do anything other than weigh myself on it.

He'll take you up on it, he loves when people play with him.

I am never without a camera. Seriously, I take a camera with me wherever I go. Get yourself a little digital and keep it in your bag, you'll find yourself using it more often than you can believe. I have a small point and shoot and a big SLR and the point and shoot is great for unobtrusive daily use.

do you mind if I ask what pernicious anemia is? I know I could look it up but...
also, beyond the too sweet pics of Dandy, I really think someone should make the picture of your Cchristmas undoing into an icon, just beautiful. Man, I would not like being in contact constantly.

No, I don't mind you asking. It's one of those things most people have never heard of until they are diagnosed. Here's a basic definition:

Pernicious anemia (per-NISH-us uh-NEE-me-uh) is a condition in which the body does not make enough red blood cells due to a lack of vitamin B12 in the body. It usually occurs in people whose bodies have lost the ability to absorb vitamin B12 from food.

This can be very nasty (in fact it used to be fatal) but it's easily treated now with injections and is no big deal. If it isn't treated it can cause all sorts of problems though so getting a diagnosis is important. In my case my hands were numb. I thought I was getting MS or something but it turned out to be PA.

Also, I totally agree that having to be in constant contact really sucks but I like my job so I deal with it.

thank you and your right, I had never heard of it, only knew that B12 is important. I have to imagine, better PA then MS and I am very glad the treatment is so easy for you to deal with.
