Gale on Grey's Anatomy

Before I make the comment I want to ask can anyone tell me if LJ is doing weird things? [livejournal.com profile] suzvoy posted about this on her LJ and I was wondering why I didn't see it on my flist. Turns out she wasn't listed as my friend. But I never deleted her (or anyone else for that matter) from my flist. Very odd.

Anyway,


I watched the clip and had three reactions in a very short span of time.

1: OMG Yeah!!!

ahem.

2: Wish he wasn't playing a bigot

3: Hmmm. There is something off here.

I happen to be one those who does think that Gale is more than able to convey an awful lot without actually saying it. ie: He's a good actor.
So in that whole clip I saw no hatred. Not even anger. All I saw was fear and shame. What's up with that? It intrigues me. I want to know what brought this character to that place in his head.

I had had no idea, and now I am so excited I might just die. You are totally right... Gale is such an amazing actor as all I saw out of his was shame. CAN. NOT. WAIT.

You are right. I also saw no anger.

I waffled over Gale as an actor, but I agree that he is usually best when he let his silence do his talking.

My understanding is that next week's episode is the first of a two-parter. Anybody have a clue as to whether Gale's role carries over to the second part?

I just checked and suzvoy was gone from my list, too. I looked at her journal, and I hadn't seen entries as far back as Nov. 7. Makes me wonder who else has disappeared and I don't know it. Bad LJ.

I agree. A full fledged bigot would make it very clear why he wants a white male doctor. Lots of shame, almost as if he is parroting a line.

I've never seen an eppy of this show, but I plan to.

I agree with you. Hatred didn't show on Gale's face. Shame seemed to. I can't wait. He does deserve more parts. And we deserve to see him.
