I adore, adore, adore this world, Quinn! By which I mean I really love it a lot! :DD
My only complaint is I don't know how to save it to my hard drive with my other faves. Is there a way to do so?
You can save it. You need to make a folder for it. Then save each image into the folder (right click, 'save image as'.) They are named in numeric order so if you slide show them or just browse them in filmstrip view you'll be able to click through the story.
One of the most amazing railroad set-ups I have ever seen is at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh. It started as a temporary exhibit about 12 years ago (maybe slightly more?) and was so popular that it's still there today, and it is absolutely awesome.
I like to pretend in my mind that that designer is who Brian managed to hire for Gus :-P Because that would so rock.
I love when Brian is being honest with himself, too - both about Ted, and esp. Justin!

The original of that railroad was actually built and diplayed in a private home in 1920. It was moved in 1954 to the Buhl Science center and then in 1989 to where it is now. But it's added to all the time. In any case Albert isn't quite that old!
Hiring him may have been the smartest thing I ever did after picking up Justin under that street lamp. Thought Justin was probably more on the order of sheer dumb luck (or divine intervention)rather than intelligence.
I know that hiring Ted was one of the smartest things Brian's ever done but, Ted accepting the position was definitely the smartest thing Ted has ever done.
Hi, I only heard about you and your journal a couple of days ago and, fortunately, I am on holidays now because I have reading it ever since. Not only have you written brilliant stories but the artwork is great. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this and I'm almost sorry that I have caught up with you because now I have to join the waiting game. I'm looking forward to your next entry, BTW, I think your cat is gorgeous. I'm a sucker for a feline. I hope that you don't object to another friend - I don't want to miss out.

I loved how that developed after Ted went to work for Brian. It was perfect from the very first night when Ted broker into Wertshafters. (sp?)

Forgot to add that the pics are from one of the most beautiful model railroads in the country, The Hoosac Valley Railroad, belonging to Dick Elwell.
