It's the Weekend

Got called in to work briefly to handle a crisis but other than that it's been a fairly lazy day. Especially for Dandy.




There's a kitty in here. I probably shouldn't buy cream and white sheets. Sometimes I don't know he's in bed in the dark since he blends right in and I flip the covers over him. He gets very indignant over that and much huffing ensues.

My cat, Britin, meows at me to get up and get moving every morning. He's adapted to when the alarm clock is set to go off and doesn't give me a break even on the weekends. Yesterday I left on time but had to return home unexpectedly shortly after leaving. Imagine my surprise to find him stretched out on the bed sound asleep.

Well, Dandy can't meow but he makes his wishes known pretty well. I find him asleep when I come home but sometimes I find him in the front hall with his little nose plastered against the sidelight window. It so damn pathetic!

Too cute.
My cat had her own bed she used to get tucked into with an old cardigan blanket and her toy mouse. She used to come in each evening and demand Mum come put her to bed. Was most indignant if forced to go lie on TOP of the cardigan instead. And yet if when she deigned to join me on my bed I flipped the covers over her she would complain too.
