I love the second picture. The crane seems to be suspeneded in midair. And yes, there are always surprises out the office window!

The crane seems to be suspeneded in midair.

I really lucked out there. I was taking the first shot and turned around to get back in the car (I used the car roof as a tripod for both of these) and saw the crane rising out of the fog with the sunrise behind it and I think my jaw actually dropped.

That first pic has such a hypnotic calm about it. That individual standout tree almost seems unreal. Beautifully artistic.

I adore fog. It makes me feel like I'm back in Germany. Of course the palm trees break up that illusion pretty fast. :)
