I have a hard time with the 50 books thing. Not doing it. I read 50 books a year every year and then some. It's the posting about them. Partly because I may read three or four in a a couple of days and then forget which I read by the time I get around to posting about them and partly because some of the books I read fall into the research category (and hence would spoil future writing), so I don't write about those and then forget to write about them later.

Anyway, a couple that I can write about so far this year are The Kid and The Commitment by Dan Savage. I read both of these in January of last year so these are re-reads. Love them both of course.

I wore my boots to work today:

Sorry about the blurring but I'm paranoid about work papers.

This is on the wall in my office:

When it arrived I claimed it immediately.

Awesome boots!

When does Entourage come back on? I miss our boys. I'm very jealous of your poster. :)

I just got The Kid and The Commitment from the library yesterday. I haven't started them yet, but I read the first chapter of both and they seem like good reads.

i laughed and cried through dan savage's books, "the kid" and "the commitment". i wish he'd write another about his family...and at the risk of sounding pathetic, i found them truly warm and fuzzy!
