Moonset

When I left my house for work this morning I took a few shots off to the east showing the sunrise. As I turned to get in the car I saw the moon setting in the opposite direction and lifted my camera to take a quick shot. Just as I snapped the shutter a heron flew into the shot.

This is a really beautiful photo, Quinn. You sure leave your house early! Are you going to participate in Project 365 (http://www.photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/)? A couple of other people on my flist are.

You sure leave your house early! Are you going to participate in Project 365?

I do leave early and I am doing Project 365, haven't been posting the pictures though. I'll try and catch up this week. This is the photo for yesterday, when I got to work this was on my monitor:
