It's not.
Not that it matters. I have to take my Christmas decorations down this weekend.
I've been working alone for the most part this week but for three trainees. One poor girl was with me by herself one day and had no clue what to do because I didn't have time to tell her. She jumped in gamely though and did a pretty damn good job of it. Problem is there has been NO ONE else to take tech calls. My boss is still out with her mother ill and the other most experienced person is also out ill. I have one employee who seems determined to shoot himself in the foot despite all my best efforts to cover for him. I love my job, really I do, but this week hasn't been much fun. I don't even want to think about all the things that have almost certainly been screwed up this week and all the things I haven't gotten done.
I have started my Christmas fic though. I'm stuck right in the middle of a sentance though. Something odd (and funny) is going to happen to Brian but I can't seem to make up my mind exactly what. It's going to be messy though ;-)
I think I'll use my icon of Jeremy's buckle. It makes me happy.

Sorry work is so stressful for you. I'm dealing with similar stress - the source is a bit different with the same results you're experiencing. One of my co-workers is getting ready to quit and has mentally checked out. Every part of our work that overlaps is a mess - on her end. She might as well not even be there. Our boss doesn't know - although I have no idea how she doesn't as this girl is telling anyone who will listen that she's quitting. Today I found her resignation letter open on her computer. ::facepalm::

Yeah, Christmas decorations go down this weekend, too. It is sorta jarring to see the house de-decorated!

Personally, I de-Christmasfied the house last weekend, piece by piece, room by room, starting in the bedrooms, seems easier that way.
Am looking forward to your Christmas fic, messy can be a good thing.
