Did those of you celebrating have a nice Christmas? We had a pretty quiet one. Today is the last day of my vacation and while I didn't get much accomplished I am feeling a good bit more rested.
This was my Christmas Eve table:

As far as presents go I got:

from family:
A pink striped long sleeved t from my sister & family
A brown croc (faux I assume) purse from my brother and family
A box of chocolate truffles from my parents (because their gift to me didn't arrive in time so this was a little bonus)
A gift card to Barnes and Noble from my uncle (also a bonus because his gift to me didn't arrive in time either)
and an unknown gift from my other brother and his family since his package didn't arrive in time.

Oh and my brother (the timely one) also sent a calendar featuring some of his animal photography (he takes amazing photographs of wildlife) but my mom grabbed it. He said he has a couple left and will send me another one.

From friends:
A great set of travel bags from [livejournal.com profile] crangirl39
scrapbooking stuff
a set of body lotions
a gift card to Best Buy

For my birthday:
Scrapbooking stuff
An amazon gift card
A t-shirt
and $100 in American Express Be Our Guest cards (for use in restaurants.)

Dandy got a ball and a fluffy thing covered with feathers that he liked a lot.

I love how pets get into the spirit of the day as well. I've never had a cat, but dogs about turns themselves inside out when a new chew toy is uncovered!

How lovely. I knew as soon as I saw the picture that it was yours. This gave me a very nice feeling. It's nice of you to share. Your kitty is the picture of contentment. I'm glad you had a good vacation and holiday.

Merry Christmas. Your table looks beautiful.

My cat has that toy. She loved it so much I got her another one. There were feathers everywhere, which was fun when they would move in a breeze. There is also an elastic one (of that style) with feathers on the end that hangs on a doorknob. She really really liked that one a lot too. :)

This is so funny because I spent my 25th at my sister's house - she has two cats, one named Huey and the other named Sox. Huey is the wild and crazy one, and Sox is the older one. Anyway, we all bought presents for them and they acted like children! After they literally attacked the fabric bag of catnip for about an hour they both crashed - Huey in his cardboard box and Sox on the sofa. It was real amusement for the day!

BTW, sorry to hear about your injury. I hope it doesn't leave a lasting scar - I cut my finger about a month ago and I think it'll leave a lasting impression.
