I just ate a turkey dinner. I'm ready to sleep now. Actually all I ate was the stuffing and some peas. I figured I'd use my Weight Watcher's points on the things I like best!
I wish Brian and Justin would get custody of Gus (and Michael and Ben get custody of Jenny). I always thought Mel and Lindsay were pretty poisonous together.
Thanks for continuing with the verse! As always, I so enjoy your frequent updates. :)
Hey now, you didn't eat the turkey so you don't get to claim tryptophan as an excuse for an early bedtime! lol
Thanks for Part B. I agree with chase820 above. Mel & Linds have way too much baggage to raise well-adjusted kids. My biggest gripe (canon & fic) is how openly and vocally contemptuous Mel is about Brian to and/or in front of Gus. And so often, Lindsay just let it happen. Kids are awfully smart; they know when parents are crappy. Doesn't stop them from loving them, but they see pretty clearly, IMO, so there is never, ever any reason to badmouth a parent in front of the child. And Brian's not a crappy parent. Mel is just jealous. *steps off soapbox* :)
Even though it involves the lesbians breaking up again, I have to say I totally love this storyline since it allows Brian and Justin to really shine as father figures. I loved that Brian cut through the gossip-y bits to get right to how Gus is feeling about everything. *warm fuzzies*
The Correspondance redux-esque posts are fabulous as well, they're very organic-feeling and yet still dramatic.
Really kinda off topic, but someone posted a McDreamy pic over in one of the Grey's Anatomy comms that made me think of the guys in the Hamptons. It was McDreamy in jeans & a shirt stadnding on the dunes of beach somewhere.

I hope Gus "talks" to them when they visit him.
