I replied to a comment this morning and it reminded me that I've been meaning to ask you guys for a favor.

I'm having Correspondence, Interlude, Adventures and Changes printed into books (just for myself, no commercial gain etc. etc.) and there is a space on the back cover for quotes. Would any of you be willing to write a little review/quote (the type you'd normally see on a book) for me?

If so, thank you very much! You can either reply with it here (let me know which story it's for) or mail it to me at quinn222 at livejournal dot com

I would love to. I am heading out of town for Labor Day weekend, but will get you one early next week. What a cool idea!

For Correspondence:

"Refreshingly different. A brilliant little keepsake for QAF fans everywhere."

For Adventures(1):

"Amazing manipulations of the worlds greatest places and landmarks, tied in with a side of Brian and Justin the fans could only ever dream of."

For Adventures(2):

"No degree in geography will ever teach you about the world the way Adventures will!"

(I have no idea if they're what you're after, but those two were my favourites so I had to try and give you something!) :)

You're very welcome. I don't always comment, and I can't always read every post, but I admire your work and dedication. Let me know if you're taking orders for these books and how much they are!

Ack! I think there should be an apostrophe in "worlds" for the Adventures(1) quote. Sorry!

Quinn - Your work is so beautiful I seriously would like to obtain a bound copy of these books. Is it something you are willing to let others purchase?

Thanks so much but I'm pretty sure I'd get sued if I did that :/

I've beaten you to it - I printed out Adventures in full colour when you finished the series and bound it in a scrap book cover that my kid made in art class!! And if my darned digital camera still worked, i'd send you a pic. You'll just have to settle for a glowing review which i shall take some time to think thru and post on Mon (or thereabouts).

Wow, that is really flattering and I'm very touched.

Sorry to have taken so long. RL and work have been whopping me good! Even if I'm too late and you've printed everything out already, I'd like to give you my two-bits worth:-

I’ve had the most amazing journey with Adventures. Seeing the world, both the acclaimed and off-the-beaten-track destinations, through the eyes of the much loved characters of Brian and Justin, the photographer and the artist, the jaded and the fresh, has been a lesson in perspective. The combination of graphic manipulation, first person in-character narrative, exhaustive research and extensive coverage makes Quinn’s epic a significant benchmark in the history of fan fiction. I am honored to have been a bystander.

That's a few looooooong sentences and some big words.Comes to me once in a long while! lol

Now on to Changes! (won't be doing Correspondences and Interlude unless I really have the time to re-read them)
