"they're not shy"... that's an interesting was of putting it, heehehee!!!! I wonder what he's witnessed!
I am really intrigued by his description of Justin. I mean, what he wrote about Brian is no surprise, but describing Justin as "seemed like an easier person to get to know but he's actually rather reserved" is a surprise to me, but you know, I think you are totally right! I guess I never really realized that before!
I love the picture of them... Justin's legs! Heehe. Do you have a larger version of it? :)

I started thinking about how a perceptive outsider might see him and I kept coming back around to the fact that he's not quite as he seems on the surface.
I do have a larger version of the pic. I'll post it in a bit. I just got home.
54th wedding anniversary?! Um, Quinn, exactly how old are you? I thought you were in high school, or at the oldest, early college! But, um, I guess not. LOL! *mind boggles*
I thought you were in high school, or at the oldest, early college!
You missed all my panicked college posts and my graduation last year. And that was my second go around with college. I'm the youngest (bonus baby) in my family but (gulp), I'm over thirty.
First off, congratulations to your parents!! That is awesome and beautiful. Mine just celebrated 28 this past weekend, but I look forward to the bigger ones to come :)
I loved this post. I think it may be my favorite of the "Summer" ones so far... It's so insightful into Brian and Justin, and really makes me appreciate James' character. I especially love this description of Justin:
It's only after a while you notice that you haven't ever talked to him about anything important.
Congrats on the anniversary. We had a big one this year. My grandparents had their 55th wedding anniversary, and their 50th in their house. It's so amazing to think about how much time and everything they have gone through together. It's a great feeling that couples like that are still around considering how much divorce you hear about. Gives me hope.

I really like the voice you've given to Ted's boyfriend. He seems quite genuine. Something Ted really needed in his life.
Great pic of B/J sleeping/sunning together. :D

I wanted Teddy to have someone really grounded.

Lovely post, as always! I adore the pics and Ted's boyfriend looks like a real catch. I always love reading about the boys from external POVs... ;-)

It really is, I'm so blessed in my family.

I love the "outsider's" description of Brian as a 'prickly personality.' So perfectly descriptive.
Oh. And the photo is yummy......all those legs!

Oh, that manip was so great. Very Justin!
And, the POV of James is so fascinating. I don't know if I've ever heard Justin described like that, but it SO TRUE.

Thanks, I wondered if anyone would agree with

I love the tone of Ted's BF. Very interesting observations. So accurate regarding Justin.
I have to say that manip is just BRILLIANT! It's beautiful!
