Season Three is off to a good start!

Okay,

That pretentious little twit Malan has got to go ASAP. And he can take Jeffrey with him. Once again they kept someone only for the drama he provides. Stacey's dress wasn't anything to write home about but it was way better than his. I liked Robert's better than Keith's but that's just taste, Keith's was nice. Also, Laura's was really not my taste but it was beautifully done and great use of materials.

omg how do you know everyone's name already. i will be using descriptive adjectives instead, okay.

Elegant Mother of Five is my fave so far. I love that she dresses so as not to get on the slippery slope to sweatpantsland, and I would die for that coat (if she removed the hanging parts that made noise).

I'm glad they didn't eliminate Crazy Guy. I thought he might actually kill himself if they did. But I did feel bad for Harvard Chick. She wasn't so horrible - I wished they didn't have to eliminate anyone tonight.

I also like the cute girl with the unfortunate Wendy Pepper hair.

I loved her too! You have to be really classy to wear a blouse cut that low in the daytime and get away with it.

I actually liked the coffee filter dress quite a bit. I also wanted Robert to win, but Keith was a reasonable choice. I did agree with getting rid of Stacy, just based on her design being boring. Robert's was all over the place and ultimately didn't work, but there was a spark of originality there. So if he listens to the judges he has a chance to possibly improve (although like Santino, he may be too egomanical to listen).

Ugh -- I meant Jeffrey's was all over the place but had some originality.

I thought the coffee filter dress was amazing. The use of filters alone should have kept him on the runway for originality.

That was really cute too and very well done.

I wanted Robert to win, I loved those red bows. Keith's was okay. The ones I really liked were Michael, Laura & suprinsingly Kayne. Malan needs to never laugh again and someone need to tell Jeffrey 1987 called & wants it dress back. Also Vincent? 2 seconds away from a nervous breakdown. You can see the crazy all up in the eyes.

That dress was fantastic. The angle of the trim and the bows with the silver was just great and it fit beautifully. And it's not easy to make a dress with bows that doesn't look precious.

you know all the names!?!? *goes to bravotv.com to get the names*

Great start. I'm glad Vincent stayed on, because without the hat, the dress was much better.

If Stacey's dress had been better fitted (and machine sewn!) and some of the top fabric underneath the skirt, she might have had a better chance.

Jeffrey: so glad he was knocked down from his pedestal!

Malan: botox anyone? and that laugh... ugh.

Laura - Beautiful! That coat defined her.
Michael - Reminded me of Chloe's leaf dress, with all the coffee strainers, but it was very cute.
Keith - Scarlet O'Hara indeed. So glad he ripped off that stuff. Bad Tim Gunn, bad!
Robert - Beautiful.

Everyone else, not incredible, but all very nice.

Can't wait for next week!

He seems to be teetering on the edge of nuts though.

Laura - Beautiful! That coat defined her.

It really did. I'd have known in a second that that was hers without being told.

Keith - Scarlet O'Hara indeed.

That was an excellent analogy and I'd say most of them were good about avoiding the curtain rod look.

He would have been out if he wasn't. It makes good tv. And Stacey on the verge of tears all through judging isn't.

In her exit interview on the Bravo site Stacy blames her loss on the Bravo for not providing instruction manuals for the sewing machines.

Is she right in the head? Shouldn't any aspiring big name fashion designer who wants to be in Project Runway know how to operate sewing machines? Didn't she watch the previous seasons and knows you have to sew your projects yourself?

*shakes head in disbelief*

Note how THEY totally spoiled the Bottom Three
in their Bravo poll? Duh, HELLO?

My sister, my mother, and my 9 year old niece
were all watching avidly. I thought Robert should
have won, but Keith's was okay. My mother like
the fur thing. Nuff said!

I knew they'd keep Jeffry and Vincent for entertainment
value. Stacey was boring, so I figured she'd go.

Now -- what are they going to sleep on?

That was a mistake that they got flooded with emails for and they actually responded and said they will correct that.

For some reason Malan reminds me of Steven from Top Chef??

I think this is going to be a good season.

Bwahahahaha!!!! Puh-leeze, when he ever said "I myself prefer quality fabrics." well duh. Who doesn't? But that's not the point! And he knew his looked like crap compared to the others but he immediately said he was worried the artistic point or what the hell ever would be 'mis-perceived'. Give me a break.
I will credit him though with giving Laura a lovely compliment on her coat.

As I watched, Vincent kept reminding me of someone. And I finally figured it out. For those of you who have seen "The Godfather" remember the charactor actor who played Moe Green? His name is Alex Rocco. Here is his bio at imdb:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0733678/

He looks like him when he was younger--and he defintiely has the creepy/crazy element.
