Assorted stuff

I am so far behind on posting my 50 books thing that it's probably a lot cause. I'll never remember everything I've read since the last time I posted. Oh well. Maybe one day this week I'll get it together and update it.

I haven't gotten nearly as much done this week as I thought I would. But I did make some scrapbook pages and finish a sewing project and get some laundry done. So exciting. *yawn*
This week is the holiday on Tuesday. I'm going to try out my new tiny tripod and see if I can get some photographs of the fireworks. Thursday night I'm taking a scrapbooking class and Sunday I have tickets to a baseball game (minor league.) I have a feeling I'm not going to get a lot done this week either.

I've been trying to spend a little time playing in PhotoShop. This is one I did today:

Very pretty - is that the Land pavilion in WDW? The greyed background is making me unsure, though I know that is one of the photoshop effects

It is the Land Pavilion. I put a B/W layer over a colured layer and then used a layer mask to paint out the top layer and reveal the coloured layer in certain areas.

Even if you aren't keeping up with your challenge, you may be gratified to learn that you inspired me to do one of my own. Mine is only a 25-book challenge. I know my limitations, especially since I have all this fanfic I must read. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. FanSee

That's great! I'm actually keeping up pretty well with the reading part, just not so much with the posting part.
