May I just say that I'm glad the whole ring issue didn't send anyone into a tailspin here? lol. Their solution makes perfect sense to me. Sigh. They grow up so fast, don't they? Thanks, Quinn!
Hahaha Loved the Anderson Cooper mention. No one can resist Anderson. Lol Quinn, there are a long time that I don't comment but I wanna you to know that I read all the entries, I have to check everyday. You are so clever and wonderful to create this and share with us make us happy. Thank you so much for your talent. Hugs. :)

OMG YAY, Anderson/QaF crossover! And wow, I am shocked that they actually got the rings.. and also that Brian said they'd probably get married if it was legal! I didn't expect that at all! I thought they said it didn't feel right to get married, but the domestic parnership did feel right. I guess I am a little confused.
I think they said since it's not legal here, they're not interested in *just* a commitment ceremony as they already know they're committed but, if (WHEN, please god) it becomes legal in the US, then they would get married. So for now, the domestic partnership is what keeps them legally bound and that will be sufficient for the time being.

Yup, that was pretty much the basis of their decision when they decided not to get married in Canada. It would have no legal benefit and they didn't see the point of it 0therwise.

I think at this point the legal protection that marriage offers is probably important to both of them. I don't think either of them sees it in terms of traditional straight couple marriage.
Oh, Quinn. I so adore this world you've created. I've been a negligent commenter lately, but as avid a reader as ever. Brian's right; Em needs to get to NYC. Love that they bought rings and how cool to toss us Barack and Anderson!
Emmett is looking very comfortable in the New York loft--I don't think it will be too long before he decides to move to the Big Apple---if only your story would last long enough for him to make that decision. We would be perfectly happy to wait for him to get his act together--to find a place to live--to pack up his stuff--to find the right movers --and then to find the right New York lover. We'll be right there with him. What's a few more entries? A few more weeks? months? pleeaaase?
I love how you were able to work Anderson Cooper into the story. It makes so much sence that Justin & Emmett want to go to his signing--they both know a good man when they see him!
I think it's lovely that they bought rings for safe keeping until the time to wear them arrives (and I hope it does soon).

Wonderful entry, Quinn. I hope you're feeling better, after your terrible allergy attack.

Thanks, I'm still itchy but I think it's fading :/

Em DOES need to move to NYC. He would be fabulous anywhere, but his pilot light would shine ever so bright there.
Sigh. Anderson.
