Can you elaborate on "the energy thing....the only openly gay person featured"? I haven't been to Epcot for eons and am curious about what this attraction is. Thanks
I've been on this one - it is a reworking of the original (and boring) lecture on energy including fossil fuels, which is Disney's excuse to include a rather sedate but neat ride back through the era of the dinosaurs. The reworking is called 'Ellen's Energy Adventure' and features Ellen de Generes in a dream episode of 'Jeopardy', where she has to do fun research on the topic of energy to win her match.
Its a lovely cool ride to balance the hot Florida heat, and nice to doze in too...
It's a movie/ride that features Ellen Degeneres in a dream about being on Jeopardy. It's cute and funny and you get to sit down in air conditioning for quite a while, which becomes inportant in FL in the summer!

U are truly a creative person when it comes to these entries. It feels like I'm right there with them at times, which makes me wanna just plan out a trip for the summer, haha. Love the pic with Gus and the Beast. In all the times I've been to Disney world (all of twice btw, lol) I've never been to epcot> I think the decision was yanked away from me and we went to Island of Adventure instead.

I like Epcot a lot. It doesn't have a lot of ride but it does have lots to see and you can eat and or drink your way around the world. Pace yourself though, a lot of people never make it out of Mexico after the Margaritas!
Yay-- Epcot-- my favorite park (I'm a bit biased-- I worked there back in the day)-- and they are staying at my favorite resort b/c it has my favorite pool. We spent many days sneaking in that one. I love their Disney adventures-- thanks for these posts!
I know-- we've learned how to be creative to get around it-- the key is to get there really early, but it is definitely tougher than it was even a year ago!
this one was so cute! and justin and brian had been to every country?! damn thats nice. and the non-spinning non-killer of small children line cracked me up!

Thanks, I'm happy with that one. I had to use three pictures to make it (Beast alone, a child alone, and Gus) so I'm glad it turned out well.

They require a special resort arm band now to even get in there.
