I'm such a sucker for Florence! That's where I got engaged, so it brings back wonderful memories. :D

Poor Brian, "mesmerized-by-the-art!Justin" would be hard to handle for anyone.... ;-)

P.S. 7000 € for two table cloths it's a bit too expensive, don't you think? (1 € is a tiny bit more than 1 $) ;-)

Trust me, if there is one thing I know, it's the price of embroidery. I did round up a tiny but, they were 3400 euros each.

WTF?? I cannot believe this... are they made of gold?

I mean, my mom once bought some broccato (it's a very expensive, tissue, made of silk and other fancy stuff) table cloths but she didn't spent that kind of money, not even half of it, actually...

Yes, I can agree about the price. I was in Madeira last year (part of Portugal) and wanted to get a hand-embroidered table cloth, but the ones I liked ran into almost four figures. Even a small handkerchief was over forty euro. They were all labelled by the Madeiran government as authentic - and I just *know* that Brian wouldn't settle for anything less than the very best!

Thank heavens I do cross_stitch - I can make my own!

And Debbie probably has no idea how expensive her table cloths are...

Brian sure paid a lot for a table cloth that's going to get lasagna sauce spilled over it, but I love how the guys compromise on the sight seeing.

Something that was worth mentionning about the sordid destiny of the cloth....

They are such an old married couple. lol

BTW, came across an article you may find helpful:

Also, did Brian ever pick up any hotel clients so that he could get some spa perks? :)

I don't know why the idea of Brian buying expensive table cloths made me laugh. Loving all the pics.

In Florence, boys, buy a superb miror for your house, oh but may be you no longer have the house, I didn't remember a mention of it in the changes, for your loft then. A huge and outragousely baroque miror, golden frame, and so and so....
Florence, makes me feel like spending a week end there.
Thourougly enjoyable, as usual, Quinn.
