Back at work

I still feel lousy but better than I did. Today was a pretty good one. They're finally putting in the furniture at our new offices and that made ofr some chaos. But the new chairs are orange. I love orange. I'm happy about orange chairs. Also the space for my department will be ready next week and I am going to move there alone at first. I'll miss being in the same office with lots of other people but it'll be nice to be alone too.


I went here:




Tonight the company had a box at the Mets/Dodgers game. I wasn't going to go but then I figured why not? So I went and stayed for about four innings. It was fun. Had a hot dog etc. It's a nice way to pass some time and I enjoy spending time with my co-workers.




Oh, and before I left work I went online to check my school situation. If you've been around a while you may recall that I didn't go to school this past year because I didn't have the money. I'll be able to go this fall. I got a grant! Yeah!

Fantastic news about the grant! Congratulations!!! I knew you were working full-time, but think I started with LJ late enough that I thought you were done with school, not just taking a break. How much more do you have left? Glad to hear you're feeling better, too.

I have forever left, lol.
I went to college a long time ago but didn't graduate because I got sick. So I went back and could only afford to take a couple of classes at a time. I graduated with an AS in computer science last spring, which was a huge accomplishment for me. At first I wasn't sure what I was going to do but I decided I might as well keep going for the BS. I was accepted to a different university to continue on but I couldn't afford to go last fall. It'll be the same this time around. two or three classes at a time. It's going to take a while.
