Have I mentioned lately that my love for Slings and Arrows knows no bounds? I'm rewatching last week's epsiode and they have a whole conversation in the bar about who everyone's favourite character on Queer as Folk is. Talk about fandoms colliding.
If you are not watching it you should be. Sundance, Sunday nights. Stars Paul Gross.

Here's a blurb from the official website, but it doesn't do it justice:
Directed by Peter Wellington (Joe’s So Mean To Josephine), SLINGS AND ARROWS is based in the fictional town of New Burbage where legendary theatrical madman Geoffrey Tennant (Paul Gross) returns to the New Burbage Theatre Festival – the site of his greatest triumph and most humiliating failure, to assume the Artistic Directorship after the sudden death of his mentor, Oliver Welles.
Now firmly installed as Artistic Director of the New Burbage Festival, Geoffrey Tennant inherits the problems of late Oliver Welles' (Stephen Ouimette), plus a few of his own making. Labouring under the now glorified shadow of his predecessor, Geoffrey is forced to stage Macbeth, the cursed play, which Oliver had obsessively researched for years. Working from Oliver's notes, Geoffrey chafes at the bit, particularly with the casting of seasoned theatre actor, Henry Breedlove (Geraint Wyn Davies), as Macbeth being a foregone conclusion. Geoffrey rebels, and Oliver reappears. . .

True, but it's hard to get past my love for Jack. I just watched his death scene again. Amazing. Good night sweet prince indeed. I hope they bring him back to play another role.
